Review procedure

Reviewing and Editorial Ethics

The Editorial Board of the Collection of the State University of Infrastructure and Technologies. The section “Economics and Management” is guided by the international ethics of scientific publications and provides the open access policy. All articles submitted to the Editorial Board are obligatory reviewed and checked for plagiarism.

The Editorial Board also supports a certain level of requirements when selecting and accepting articles submitted to the Editorial Board of the Collection. These requirements are determined by the research areas of the Collection, which are defined by the Certificate of State Registration, as well as the standards in the quality and presentation of scientific papers common in scientific community.

The review procedures are established in such a way that authors and reviewers do not interact (blind review).

The members of the Editorial Board have the right to review the manuscript themselves or make suggestions to the editor-in-chief about sending the article to an external reviewer(s) – an expert in the subject of the article under review.

After editor-in-chief’s approval of the reviewer, the executive secretary sends the reviewer the printed or electronic text of the article, a cover letter and a review form.

The duration of the review should not exceed one month from the time the reviewer receives the article.

Each review should include recommendations on:

  • publishing the article without changes;
  • publishing the article after some additional minor editing;
  • publishing the article after obligatory considerable editing;
  • rejecting the article and stating the reason.

The Editorial Board makes the final decision on the possibility to publish the article taking into account the received review(s) and the author’s (authors’) reasoned response.
