IMPROVEMENT OF THE RATING ANALYSIS OF MALODIAL STATIONS OF RAILWAY TRANSPORT OF UKRAINE (MSRTU)

Abstract

The article considers the criteria according to which MSSTU are included in the list of inactive. JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" approached the solution of its financial problems with incomplete deepening in this issue on the closure of stations. Such an action requires the collection of many indicators regarding the activity of stations and its impact on economic and social indicators, on the region of gravity. Due to the difficult situation, the company is not taking very measured action. Unpopular actions to close MSZTU to increase the company's financial performance require careful scrutiny before implementation. Closing certain links is the easiest option to benefit, but in the future it blocks the way to work. Because resuming the work of MSSTU, if necessary, will be quite costly from a financial point of view. The current plan of successive actions, which is used in its activities to close the stations of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" is unbalanced and needs refinement and improvement. Many stakeholders are not considered and do not have a voice in addressing not only economic issues but also strategic ones in general. Every one should disclose their suggestions for better improvement of the procedure for closing an inactive freight station. Each station that will be reduced has social and economic significance for the region in which it is located. Large financial infusions are needed to restore the station. The stations were opened over a long period of time and with large investments. It is necessary to deeply analyze this problem to better solve it.Before making strategic decisions, the arguments that will be presented must also be considered from all sides and points of view. Reduction and closure carries a lot of weight for everyone, not just the railways. Mass closure will lead to non-recovery actions that will be manifested in the future.
