Abstract

This article examines the impact of the digital transformation of management systems on enterprise competitiveness in the context of the developing digital economy and an increasingly dynamic market environment. It is argued that the digitization of business processes and the implementation of modern digital technologies are key factors in improving management efficiency, enhancing enterprises’ adaptability to external changes, and building their long-term competitive advantages.

The essence of the digital transformation of management systems is a comprehensive process of integrating digital technologies across all functional areas of an enterprise’s operations, accompanied by changes in management approaches, organizational culture, and business models. It has been demonstrated that digital transformation improves the quality of management decisions using business analytics tools, big data, artificial intelligence, cloud services, and automated information systems.

This study analyzes the main ways in which digital transformation affects a company’s competitiveness, including optimizing business processes, reducing operating costs, increasing labor productivity, accelerating innovation, improving customer engagement, and expanding opportunities to enter new markets. It has been established that digital technologies enable the rapid collection and processing of information, increase management flexibility, and facilitate a swift response to changes in market conditions.

Particular attention is paid to the relationship between a company’s level of digital maturity and its ability to maintain a sustainable competitive position. It is argued that the success of digital transformation depends largely on staff digital competencies, management’s readiness to manage change, the availability of appropriate digital infrastructure, and an effective development strategy.

It is concluded that the digital transformation of the management system is a strategic tool for enhancing a company’s competitiveness, as it drives growth in operational efficiency, innovation, and customer focus. In today’s business environment, the digitalization of management is becoming a key prerequisite for the sustainable development of companies and the strengthening of their market positions.
