Submission Guidelines and Formatting Requirements
- Structure and Content Requirements
The Editorial Board of the accepts original scientific articles that include the following structural elements:
1.1. UDC index.
1.2. JEL Classification codes.
1.3. Author information in two languages (Ukrainian and English): full name, academic degree, academic title, position, official name of the higher education institution, and ORCID ID.
1.4. Article title in two languages (Ukrainian and English).
1.5. Abstract and keywords in two languages (Ukrainian and English). The abstract must meet the following requirements:
- Content: It should be informative (avoiding general statements), original, and substantive (reflecting the core content and research results).
- Structure: It should follow the article’s structure (subject, topic, purpose, methodology, results, practical application, and conclusions) without explicitly labelling these sections.
- Style: Avoid introductory phrases like "The author considers..." or "The article describes...".
- Exclusions: Historical background (unless it is the main subject), descriptions of previously published works, and common knowledge should be omitted.
1.6. Main body of the article. The text must include the following elements:
- Problem Statement: General overview and its connection to important scientific or practical tasks.
- Literature Review: Analysis of recent research and publications that initiated the solution to the problem and upon which the author relies; identification of previously unresolved parts of the general problem addressed in the article.
- Research Objective: Formulation of the article's goals and tasks; defining the main idea that significantly differs from current views on the issue.
- Main Research Material: A full justification of the scientific results obtained, including core findings, personal ideas, identified patterns, connections, trends, data analysis, and the author's personal contribution.
- Conclusions: Summary of the research highlighting scientific novelty and/or significant theoretical and practical value.
1.7. References, formatted according to bibliographic standards. DOI must be included for all sources where available. 1.8. References (Transliterated/Translated list).
- Volume Requirements
2.1. The total volume of the article (including UDC, JEL, author info, title, abstract, keywords, main text, and references) should be 7–12 pages.
2.2. Abstract Volume:
- If the article is in Ukrainian: Ukrainian abstract (200–250 words); English abstract (at least 1,800 characters).
- If the article is in English (or another foreign language): An expanded Ukrainian abstract must be provided (at least 1,800 characters).
2.3. Keywords: Up to 8 words or phrases.
- Formatting Requirements
3.1. The article must be prepared in MS Word (RTF or DOC format).
- Margins: Top and Bottom – 25 mm; Right and Left – 20 mm.
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt (unless specified otherwise); Single line spacing; 0.5 cm paragraph indent.
- Prohibitions: Do not use hyphenation or macros. Do not include headers, footers, or page numbers. 3.2. Specific Element Formatting:
- UDC & JEL Classification: 12 pt, italics.
- Authors (Ukrainian): 12 pt, bold italics.
- TITLE (Ukrainian): UPPERCASE, 12 pt, bold.
- Abstract (Ukrainian): 11 pt, bold italics.
- Keywords (Ukrainian): 11 pt, italics.
- Main text: 12 pt, regular.
- Copyright symbol: (© Ivanenko I. I., 2026) – 12 pt, bold italics, placed on the first page.
- REFERENCES (In original language): UPPERCASE, 12 pt, bold.
- REFERENCES (Latin script): UPPERCASE, 12 pt, bold. Sources in Cyrillic must be transliterated, with the English translation of the title provided in square brackets. 3.3. Spacing between elements:
- UDC to JEL: 0; JEL to Authors: 2; Authors to Title: 3; Title to Abstract: 2; Abstract to Main text: 1; Main text to Tables/Figures: 2; etc.
- Submission Procedure
4.1. Articles are accepted in Ukrainian, English, French, and German.
4.2. The article must align with the thematic scope of the Collection. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the material. The Editorial Board reserves the right to edit, shorten, or correct the text while maintaining the author’s style and conclusions.
4.3. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements will not be considered for publication. 4.4. Submission: Please send the electronic version of the article to [email protected]. 4.5. Academic Integrity: All submissions undergo internal anonymous (blind) peer review and plagiarism checks.
